Faith Should Not Be Blind
A pastor once told me that Christianity is a thinking person's faith. In other words, as Christians, we are expected to question our faith, which is not the same as doubting our faith. With expectation, we study His word and gain reason, wisdom, and discernment so that our faith may be complete. God did not create us to be robots. God invites us to explore His written Word and increase our understanding of Him; He wants us to listen to sermons that challenge us to grow spiritually. By doing these things, we cannot be accused of having “blind faith”, but instead possessing knowledge and discernment; workers who are unashamed and rightly handling the word of truth.
