Stop Pointing the Finger

In our pain and blame, pointing our finger at our offender is no different than Adam pointing his finger at Eve after getting caught being disobedient. An argument can be made that had Adam accepted responsibility for the fruit being eaten, the Fall would not have happened. Perhaps Adam was unable to accept responsibility because the effects of the Fall were already manifest. As long as we point fingers at each other, we are blind to see the failings in ourselves. Let's point fingers less at each other and instead point to ourselves and in humbleness say, "Father, forgive me of my sins as I forgive others of theirs against me."
